Well, you're probably not even seeing this update
until the first of the month, but it's still up!
Be sure to sign up on the forum,
because we always post new episodes there first.
This week, we took an extremely detailed look at
Gohan's character arc throughout the entire series.
Definitely
check it out. |

Episode #0039 + Akira Toriyama TV Interview?!
VegettoEX
@ 2:32 pm EDT -- Episode
#0039 of the podcast is available for download!
We've finally gotten around to giving our huge review
of Battle Stadium D.O.N., which so many people have
been looking forward to. In addition to that, we've
got tons of links (images, videos, etc.) for you
to check out... but you have to listen to the episode!
Definitely
check it out.
Also,
as noted in the episode, Anime
News Service is reporting that Akira Toriyama
himself will be granting an on-camera interview
to NHK's Top Runner chat show. We do not yet have
an exact confirmation on this, but we'll certainly
let you know what happens... as soon as we find
out! |

Whether it be ninja squirrels or Deluxe himself,
nothing can keep us from continuing on with the
podcast. We discuss the passing of Hirotaka Suzuoki,
FUNimation's DBZ Movies Boxset plans, and Otakon
2006... including all sorts of AMV material. Definitely
check it out.
And
yes, our Otakon 2006 Iron Editor video is now

Otakon
2006 AMV & Hirotaka Sozuoki Passes Away
VegettoEX
@ 9:30 pm EDT -- Hi.
So
in addition to Otakon taking up the entirety of
last weekend for us, we lost our internet connectivity
last Wednesday. Comcast came and fixed it earlier
this week. The cause? Squirrels.
Anyway...
So
since we're back from Otakon, that means it's time
for a new Anime Music Video! Our (being Meri and
myself) entry for the contest this year, featured
in the Action category, is entitled
My Fist Is The Worst Kind Of Weapon. It's
a video to the series Hajime No Ippo (released
domestically as Fighting Spirit). It's
an awesomely fun video, and we really hope you enjoy
it. Check it out over in the "Music
Videos" section. Thanks to godofchaos,
we also have a direct download in addition to the
hosting provided by AnimeMusicVideos.org.
Also,
I had totally forgotten to throw up last year's
Iron Editor video from AWA. Holy crap. My bad. Be
sure to check
that out, and look forward to this Otakon's
Iron Editor stuffage soon!
There
WILL be a podcast
this weekend. Fear not.
On
a totally somber note, seiyuu Hirotaka
Sozuoki has passed away. DB fans will know him best
as Tenshinhan, but his extraordinary career has
spanned so many other of this fan's favorite shows...
he will be missed immensely. |

Episode #0037 + Re-Released Hit Collections!
VegettoEX
@ 12:00 am EDT -- Episode
#0037 of the podcast is available for download!
And hey, the site's back up! This
week we go over Atari's recent actions on the disgusting
wasteland that is YouTube, as well as the big news
that Columbia Japan is re-releasing all twenty DBZ
Hit Collection CDs. And hey, we sample all of our
favorite songs with Rachel. Definitely
check it out.
Yeah,
in case you didn't catch that, Columbia Japan is
re-releasing all twenty DBZ
Hit Collection CDs on September 20th! ¥1365
a pop. Not too shabby! Be sure to grab them.
