Synopsis
The
movie begins on the new Planet Namek, with the Namekians
peacefully going about their daily activities. Suddenly,
an "eclipse" of sorts takes place, as a gigantic planetoid spreads out and attaches itself to New Namek. The planet is soon overtaken by robots, enslaving
the people. Back on Earth, Dende (the Earth's new
Kami-sama) senses the danger on the far-away planet.
Goku and his friends set off in a spaceship for
New Namek in order to help.
Upon
arriving on the new Planet Namek, Gohan takes out
one robot, while Goku insists that they all leave
immediately. From behind the robots walks out a
reptilian, robotic creature...it is Coola, in a
new metal form! Coola's remains were found by the
Big Gete Star, a giant "planet" created
from various computer components and more across
the galaxy, and shockingly recreated into this new
form. Goku and Coola battle, while all of Goku's
friends are eventually kidnapped by the robots,
and brought back to the Big Gete Star.
Goku
is eventually forced to turn into a Super Saiyan,
much to Coola's delight; Coola is dying to prove
that he is indeed the strongest fighter in the universe,
and he would have it no other way than to defeat
Goku as a Super Saiyan. Unfortunately for Goku,
Coola has indeed drastically increased in power.
Goku is about to have his neck crushed, when out of
nowhere, Vegeta lands a solid kick to Coola's own
neck, knocking him aside and coldly informing him
not to underestimate a Super Saiyan. Coola is shocked
to discover that there is more than one Super Saiyan,
but is fully confident that there will be no problem
in defeating both of them.
Goku
and Vegeta attack with all their might, and believe
they have indeed destroyed Coola once and for all.
As the exhausted warriors look up to the ridge nearby, however, one Coola
walks out...then another...and another...and
so on, until the entire horizon is filled with them.
With screams of rage, Goku and Vegeta power up to attack
once more, as the screen goes black.
The
two wake up, tied up via many electrical circuits,
looking into the half-formed face of Coola; the
villain is actually hooked up via his brain directly
into the Big Gete Star (all of the "Coola"
fighters were creations of the computer). Coola
begins to drain the energy from the two Saiyans,
and believes he has emptied them. As the two Saiyans
lay lifeless, more energy suddenly begins to surge,
causing some circuits to overload. As Coola cries
out for them to stop, the two grab hold of the remaining
wires, and empty all of their remaining power into
the circuits, effectively destroying most of the
ship. Coola attempts one last final attack, but
is fought off by the two cooperating fighters.
Goku
and his friends are thanked by the Namekians, and
Yajirobe gives everyone Senzu beans to recover their
strength. Gohan asks what happened to Vegeta; Goku
mentions that he took off right after taking his Senzu.
The
final shot is of a space pod, with Vegeta inside;
he holds a small computer chip in his hand, which
he crushes with a "Hmph!"

Notes
DBZ
movie six marks the departure from "real"
American bands, used in the English-dubbed score of
the previous two movies. On board now is Mark Menza,
who would later take on the job of creating the sore
for the English dub of DragonBall GT.
DBZ movie six also marks the first appearance of Vegeta
in a DBZ movie. The Japanese version (found only on the uncut
DVD) naturally retains the original Japanese score,
and features translated subtitles provided by Daimao himself, Steven
J. Simmons.
