In celebration of the first new art book for the franchise in about fifteen years, we are not only giving it some much needed loving on the podcast... but also giving one away!
Ougon no Senshi ("The Golden Warrior") is a new DragonBall illustration and art book that spans the entire run of the franchise. Inside you will find every single last movie poster (and all of their alternates/variants), art work previously exclusive to the Japanese "Dragon Box" DVD sets, a full-page spread of the main Jump Super Anime Tour promotional image, and so much more. There are also interviews with three of the franchise's most important men: Minoru Maeda, Tadayoshi Yamamuro, and Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru.
We reviewed the art book on Episode #0221 of our podcast, but felt it would be best if you could hold it in your hands and listen along. One lucky winner will be able to do just that, totally free of charge!
CONTEST RULES
( 01 ) — ONE ENTRY PER PERSON.
( 02 ) — Entries are to be e-mailed to:
( 03 ) — This is a random-drawing contest. Entries will be assigned a number based on their receipt order. A random integer will be selected from within the maximum number of received entries to determine the winner.
( 04 ) — Include the word "Golden" somewhere in the e-mail (be it the subject, the body... whatever). You do not have to write anything in particular in the e-mail, but making us laugh is always a lofty goal you should shoot for.
( 05 ) — Entries must be received no later than 11:59 pm (Eastern), Sunday, June 13th.
( 06 ) — Entries are open to anyone in the world! We will ship to you! No worries!
So what happens after the entries are received? We will review all entries after the submission period ends to make sure they all conform to the rules. We will have a random drawing announced on our website on or about June 14th.
